Embryo Transfer Services (ETS) offers full service equine embryo transfers. All embryo transfers are done exclusively by licensed veterinarians with extensive reproductive experience. All resultant pregnancies are monitored frequently and maintained aggressively to result in the highest success rates possible.
To assist our customers, ETS maintains hundreds of mares each year for a recipient herd. The recipient herd is checked daily by an experienced clinician to insure optimum donor/recipient synchronization. Our contracts include the use of our recipient mares, thus our clients do not need to own a recipient mare of their own.
ETS has sufficient confidence in a successful outcome to share the financial risk equally with the mare owner for 28 days, and maintain one live foal guarantee per contract.
There are many reasons for using embryo transfer. These reasons include but are not limited to obtaining multiple offspring during one season; allowing performance mares to continue in competition during the breeding season; managing sub fertile mares to obtain fertile embryos; and assisting with mares with physical disabilities that prevent them from carrying to term.
ETS shares a 24 acre facility with their sister company Oklahoma City Equine Clinic. The Clinic is located within 10 minutes of the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds and Remington Park racetrack.
